May we all love to read the way Ramona Quimby loved to read, especially in the third grade. And may we all care not whether the Mrs. Whaleys of the world like us. The Ramona Quilt is a ode to reading and libraries, bookstores and storytimes. Constructed of vibrant and inspiring colors in solid quilting cotton, it was made using a pattern from XOXSEW.
This quilt was professionally long-armed by Lilo Whitener-Fey of Trace Creek Quilting using a stacked pantograph that reminds me of books lined up on the shelves. The quilt is bound in the same fabric as the backing, which is vibrant modern twist on stacks upon stacks of pencils.
Dimensions: throw size, quilt measures 56" (wide) x 60" (high)
Materials: top and backing made from high quality quilter's cotton; lined with 50/50 cotton and bamboo batting
Care Instructions: machine wash on delicate cycle, tumble dry on low or line dry
Note: can be pre-washed upon request, which will give the quilt a crinkly texture; please leave a note at time of purchase
Custom variations and sizes available upon request. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information!
All quilts are handmade by me and either personally or professionally long armed (as noted in description). My in-home studio is completely smoke and pet-free but I do have two dogs in my home (Fran and Millie!).
